This Cookie Policy explains how CounterCarbon Ltd ("we", "us"), company number 17061500, uses cookies and similar technologies when you use SupplyFi.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site owner. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage in your browser.

2. In short

SupplyFi uses only cookies and browser storage that the Service needs to work or to remember a choice you made. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Because of that, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

3. Cookies we set

  • Clerk session cookies (for example __session and __client_uat, and related Clerk cookies). Purpose: keep you signed in securely and protect your session. Duration: session, up to the length of your sign-in session as set by Clerk. Strictly necessary: yes.
  • supplyfi_intent_plan (set on supplyfi.co.uk pages, in a host-only version and a .supplyfi.co.uk version). Purpose: remembers the plan you clicked on our website so sign-up can pre-select it. Duration: 10 minutes, and removed once used. Strictly necessary: yes, to deliver the sign-up you asked for.
  • supplyfi_signup_plan (set on the app during sign-up). Purpose: carries the same plan choice through sign-up on hosts where the website cookie is not available. Duration: 1 hour. Strictly necessary: yes, to deliver the sign-up you asked for.
  • sidebar_state (set in the app). Purpose: remembers whether you collapsed the side navigation. Duration: 7 days. Strictly necessary: no. It is a preference you set yourself, and it contains no personal data.

4. Browser storage we use

These items stay in your browser and are not sent to us as cookies:

  • supplyfi-theme (local storage). Remembers your light/dark mode and accent colour. Persists until you clear it. Not strictly necessary; a preference you set.
  • supplyfi.signupPlan (local storage). Carries your chosen plan through sign-up; removed when onboarding finishes. Strictly necessary for that step.
  • supplyfi.ai.acknowledged and a few similar one-off flags (local storage), for example that you dismissed a welcome message. They stop us asking you again. Persist until cleared.
  • Session storage entries (for example supplyfi:flash, supplyfi:workspace-autoselect and supplyfi:stale-deploy-reload) hold short-lived interface state such as a confirmation message or a one-time page reload after an update. They are deleted when you close the tab.

5. Third parties

  • Clerk sets the sign-in cookies listed above.
  • Stripe hosts our payment pages. When you pay, Stripe may set its own cookies on its own pages for fraud prevention and payment processing; see Stripe's cookie policy. We do not embed Stripe scripts on our own pages.
  • Vercel shows a developer toolbar (with its own cookies) only on private preview deployments used by our team. It is not shown on the live site.

6. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete existing cookies, and set preferences for specific sites. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in or using the Service.
